About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality assurance of multiple web applications through manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will also have experience in test automation and be able to take on the role of Scrum Master when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality.
• Conduct manual and automated testing for web applications.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure code quality and prevent defects early.
• Occasionally act as a Scrum Master, facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Ensure timely and high-quality software releases.
• Provide QA reports and insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, or other test management tools.
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools.
• Ability to write test scripts in Python, Java, JavaScript, or other relevant languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in CI/CD integration for test automation.
• Knowledge of security testing.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
• Previous experience working as a Scrum Master.
