Responsibilities: 

• Develop automated test scripts and tools in Selenium 4 and Python in a Macintosh or Linux environment
• Execute, maintain, and add unit/regression tests during the development phase
• Run regression tests and debug failures
• File defects in JIRA to track issues and failures
• Work with development and QA teams to reproduce/isolate bugs and regress with builds containing bug fixes
• Automation scripts will be based on existing manual test cases in Zephyr Squad or Zephyr Scale test case management systems
• Document automation scripts with clear and detailed comments

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience using Selenium 4 Scripting for Automation in a Macintosh or Linux environment
• Extensive experience using Python Scripting for Automation in a Macintosh or Linux environment
• Experience in checking in/out automation scripts in the GitHub code repository

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with running Selenium automation scripts from within Docker containers
• Experience with Zephyr Squad or Zephyr Scale test case management systems
• Experience with professional Audio/Video connectivity equipment, such as video extenders, matrixed video switchers, etc

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work between 8 AM and 5 PM in the Pacific Time Zone
• Must have a stable Internet connection with no downtime
• Must have stable power with no downtime

Experience & Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of tech industry experience in information technology and engineering
• 2+ years of experience in Selenium-based automation in a Macintosh or Linux environment
• 2+ years of experience in development of Python-based automation in a Macintosh or Linux 
  environment
• Basic understanding of networking protocols
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter
• Works well with others
• Highly productive with minimal supervision; a high level of professionalism
