Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and RestAssured
• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python etc.
• Creating and executing test plans and test cases to ensure API functionality and performance
• Designing and implementing API testing frameworks and strategies
• Conducting load and stress testing to identify performance bottlenecks and scalability issues
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API testing and automation
• Participating in agile development processes and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop and document test plans, and test cases for the Telecom/Fintech  Service, across all platforms, including Mobile, Web.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client’s needs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results and track quality assurance metrics.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Basic understanding of server-client model, and network protocols.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience of 3 to 6 years as a QA Automation Engineer.(Focusing on API testing)
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering or any relevant field.
• Experience with automated testing tools e.g. Selenium, Appium, JMeter,  Cypress etc.
• Strong experience with at least one programming script language e.g. Java, Python.
• Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Working knowledge of automated CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of common web application technologies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Learning mindset with knowledge of technology trends.
• Attitude to meeting deadlines and solving problems.
